Short description

Mannheim-born Max Moerstedt moved from FC Bayern Munich to TSG Hoffenheim in 2021. The tall striker enjoyed an unforgettable 2023/24 season when he became both German champion and DFB Cup winner with Hoffenheim's U19s, with Moerstedt also finishing as top scorer in both competitions. He also won the European Championship and the World Cup title with the U17 national team. Moerstedt was also delighted to make his Bundesliga debut in May 2024. His debut in international competition will also be remembered: the attacker scored his first professional goal with a spectacular side-footed strike against FC Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League.
