Marius Bülter's career has been characterised by a steep and continuous rise. At the age of 20, the attacking player was still playing in the Oberliga and then moved to SV Rödinghausen in the Regionalliga West. After four seasons, he made the step up to the 2nd Bundesliga, where he played for 1. FC Magdeburg. After just one season in professional football, the 1.88 metre tall Bülter joined 1. FC Union Berlin, for whom he made 58 Bundesliga appearances in two seasons. He returned to the lower house in the 2021/22 season and played a key role in helping FC Schalke win the championship and return to the Bundesliga with ten goals and 13 assists. He scored eleven goals in 33 games for the Royal Blues in Germany's top flight. In the summer of 2023, he joined TSG Hoffenheim, where the Ibbenbüren native also made his debut in the Europa League.
