An exciting digital fan evening

On the pitch and off the pitch, there's always something happening at TSG. In our "Box-to-box" series, we bring you exciting and interesting stories from the first team, the U23s, the academy and the women's team.

Thursday

An exciting digital fan evening

The fan meetings of TSG Hoffenheim have had to be cancelled for almost nine months now due to the Coronavirus. The games are also currently being played without spectators. To keep in touch with the club's supporters even in these tough times, TSG Hoffenheim invited fans to a digital fan evening on Wednesday evening. TSG's Pavel Kadeřábek, Kai Herdling and Laura Hass (who plays for TSG's women's second team) participated in the event via Zoom. A total of 17 official fan clubs and 45 fans were online and enjoyed the contact with the TSG players.

The highlight of the evening was an exciting quiz, which saw participants divided into three teams: Kadeřábek, Herdling and Hass. In the end, the Kadeřábek group narrowly prevailed. "I am, of course, happy that my team won. It was a great evening and a lot of fun. Thank you for the invitation," said TSG first team player Pavel Kadeřábek, who is currently out injured.

Study on the "Common Value Model"

Handout on the impact of sustainable marketing approaches available: TSG Hoffenheim has blazed a new trail when it comes to marketing. In a joint scientific and representative study with the Department of Sustainable Business at the University of Mannheim, a study was conducted involving 1,800 people interested in football in Germany to investigate whether there are connections between the assumption of social responsibility and marketing and what those connections might be. The study, entitled "Sustainability in professional football: added value for sponsors?", was first presented in the TSG magazine "SPIELFELD" and in a press release in November.

Interested parties now have the chance to receive a handout of the study. Simply send a request to medien@tsg-hoffenheim.de (TSG Hoffenheim) or manuel.reppmann@uni-mannheim.de (University of Mannheim, Department of Sustainable Business).
