#TSGSGE: A landmark match with good omens

TSG will welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to the PreZero Arena on Saturday (15:30 CET / Live Ticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de). In his 100th Bundesliga game as a head coach, Pellegrino Matarazzo is aiming to build on TSG's record start and exploit Frankfurt's current struggles on the road. We have picked out some exciting and interesting facts on the match against the Hesse outfit.

Did you know that…

…Hoffenheim have recently fared well at home to Eintracht?

For the first time in their Bundesliga history, TSG have recently won two consecutive home games against Frankfurt – the three previous matches had all ended in victory for SGE.

…Frankfurt currently have the worst challenge win rate in the league?

Eintracht have so far won only 45.6% of their challenges and are therefore in 18th place in the Bundesliga. TSG are slightly better with a tackle win rate of 47.2%, but are still in 17th place.

…both teams have seen plenty of cards?

TSG's players have already received 21 bookings this season – the most in the division, while Frankfurt have had two red cards and are currently joint-top of this ranking along with 1. FC Union Berlin.

…TSG are on a record-setting path?

With only five goals conceded, Frankfurt currently have the Bundesliga's best defence this season – the last time SGE had conceded so few goals after seven Bundesliga matches was 30 years ago.

…Frankfurt are struggling to hit their stride away?

Frankfurt are winless in 14 Bundesliga away games since November 2022 (seven draws and seven defeats). The Hesse outfit have been waiting even longer for an away game with a clean sheet – they have not managed this in any of their last 23 matches on the road.

…Marius Bülter likes scoring late goals?

Since the start of last season, Marius Bülter has scored four Bundesliga goals in or after the 90th minute of the match – more than any other player in this time (three for Schalke 04, one for TSG Hoffenheim).
