Alterations to admission rules for the next two home matches at the PreZero Arena

In light of the introduction of new Coronavirus regulations in Baden-Württemberg on Wednesday 24 November, the admission rules for the PreZero Arena are being adapted to fit the current parameters.

The new Covid regulations mean we are forced to reduce ticket capacities to a maximum of 50% of the stadium's total capacity as well as implement a so-called 2G+ model in the newly created alert level II, which we have to comply with for the two upcoming home matches against Eintracht Frankfurt (4 December) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (18 December). The restriction of the overall capacity will have no impact on our season ticket holders. We sincerely look forward to continuing to welcome you to the PreZero Arena and we thank you for your fantastic support in this challenging situation.

In order to provide increased protection from infection, in alert level II (hospitalisation rate of 6.0 or 450 or more intensive care beds occupied by COVID-19 patients), the 2G+ regulation applies for access to the PreZero Arena. All those visitors to the stadium who are either vaccinated or recovered must provide a test certificate from a recognised test centre (no self-tests). Both a daily rapid test (not older than 24 hours) and a PCR test (not older than 48 hours) are possible. These must be valid until the end of the event.

At TSG Hoffenheim we are doing everything we can to offer you as much support as possible when it comes to testing. We are in active exchange with the Sinsheim public order office and will publish all available test stations for the free tests on our homepage at the beginning of next week. In addition, we are checking whether we can offer a test centre for our stadium visitors ourselves if possible.

Exceptions to the 2G+ rule apply to:

  • Children up to the age of seven as well as school pupils who can be considered equivalent to 2G status on the basis of weekly testing. Adolescents from the age of 11 up to the age of 17 who attend a secondary school or a vocational school must present a student card or confirmation from the school as proof.
  • Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. The prerequisite here is the presentation of a medical certificate and a daily updated rapid test (not older than 24 hours and valid until the end of the event).
