TSG's UEL Round of 32 tie against Molde moved to Villarreal

TSG Hoffenheim will play the first leg of their UEFA Europa League Round of 32 tie against Norwegian club Molde FK on 18 February (21:00 CET) at the Estadio de la Cerámica, the home of Spanish side Villarreal. Molde FK submitted an official request for a venue change to UEFA on Monday.

The reason behind the change of match venue are the current restrictions on travel into Norway that have been introduced due to the corona pandemic. Due to the travel restrictions, TSG Hoffenheim cannot enter Norway. The Round of 32 return leg will take place at the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim on 25 February (18:55 CET) as planned.

Baumgartner nominated for Goal of the Month

TSG midfielder Christoph Baumgartner's sensational backflick to put his side 2-0 up against 1. FC Cologne on Matchday 18 has been nominated for the "Goal of the Month" award by the ARD Sportschau. TSG Hoffenheim fans can cast their votes for the Austria international online up until 20 February (19:00 CET) by clicking here.

In addition to Christoph Baumgartner, four other goals have been nominated for January. They were scored by former Hoffenheim player Nadiem Amiri (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Levin Öztunali (1. FSV Mainz 05), Daniel-Kofi Kyereh (FC St. Pauli) and Morris Schröter (FSV Zwickau).
