Richards: "We're obviously disappointed"

Here's what the players and coaches had to say after the 3-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Ihlas Bebou: "We'd hoped for more. As a substitute, I tried to help the team. That worked out well and after that we had the feeling there was more in it for us, that we could turn the game around. But unfortunately, we did not manage to see our moves through to the end and be more efficient in the final third. Frankfurt were simply superior to us in that respect. We need to work on that and do better next week in Dortmund. We need to regain our self-belief in our upcoming games and then I believe that we'll settle back into our stride."

Chris Richards: "I was slightly nervous at the beginning but after my first few successful involvements it was better. We're obviously disappointed with the result. We made too many mistakes in our game and the two quick goals decided the game. We want to do better in the coming weeks."

Sebastian Hoeness: "We were too hasty in the final third in the first half. We won possession several times but made too little out of it. Frankfurt then scored with the first chance. We made a good start to the second half, rewarded ourselves with the equaliser and were well in the game after that. But we conceded the goals too cheaply. In doing so, we gave the game away within 90 seconds. We should've defended the free-kick better; that's very frustrating and must not be allowed to happen."

Adi Hütter (Eintracht Frankfurt coach): "It was a very difficult away game today. The victory was very important for us in terms of the table. TSG risked everything in the second half. I was curious to see how the team would react to the equaliser. The two quick goals show that we have self-confidence and believe in ourselves. We're having so much fun at the moment."
