Baumann called up again by Germany

There's always something happening at TSG – whether it's on or off the pitch. In our "Box-to-box" series, we bring you exciting and interesting stories from the first team, the U23s, the academy and the women's team.

Friday

Baumann called up again by Germany

Huge honour for Oliver Baumann: the TSG goalkeeper has been named in the Germany squad for the upcoming internationals at home to Czechia (11 November/20:45 CET) and Ukraine (14 November/20:45 CET) and away to Spain (17 November/20:45 CET). It is the second time the 30-year-old has been called up for the senior squad, having previously received a call-up for the first time in September. He did not play back then, however.

Tuesday

Skov suspended for one game

The German Football Association (DFB) has suspended Robert Skov for one Bundesliga match. The Dane will therefore miss out on TSG's trip to face VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday, 8 November (kick-off 15:30 CET). The TSG player was shown a red card in the 58th minute of Monday night's 3-1 loss to Union Berlin after committing a professional foul to prevent a goal-scoring opportunity. TSG Hoffenheim have accepted the decision, which has now come into effect.
