Rosen: ''We're well prepared''

Alexander Rosen took some time out from TSG's training camp in Tegernsee to sit down for a virtual interview with various journalists. The TSG director of football shared his thoughts on new coach Sebastian Hoeness, squad planning for the coming season and the time spent training in Rottach-Egern.

Alexander Rosen on…

…squad planning: ''We had a lot of upheaval before last season, as we made a lot of changes to the squad. The way we performed at the end of the season really served as a demonstration of what we're made of. If everyone is healthy, then we feel we're in a great position. We've more or less kept the same squad. A few youngsters have made the step up from the academy and we also have our loan players back. We know that we'll need quantity as well as quality. We're well prepared.''

…training camp: ''We've got top conditions here. Of course we miss the fans, but that's just how things are at the moment.''

…the objectives for the season: ''Our ambition is dialled up to the max. We've qualified for Europe three times over the past four seasons. That's an incredible achievement for us. We want to maintain the attitude that has taken shape over the past few years. We know where we've come from, but we are also very confident.''

…head coach Sebastian Hoeness: ''Our impression of him is very very positive. We've already had a lot of conversations in a short space of time during preseason. We've discussed our ideas about how the game should be played. We see eye to eye on a lot of things. It feels good.''

…the potential return of fans to the stadium: ''We're not in a position to give recommendations. That's for the politicians to do. We are, however, well prepared for all eventualities.''
