TSG launch social media presence in China

TSG Hoffenheim are expanding their range of digital news. As of this weekend, football fans in China will also be able to follow the Bundesliga team online. TSG's account on Sina Weibo will go live just in time for the big match at the top of the Bundesliga against Bayern Munich (Saturday, 15:30 CET).

Sina Weibo is the largest Chinese microblogging service with more than half a billion users every month. "There are hundreds of millions of people interested in sports who have a growing interest in Bundesliga football and the clubs that play there," says Christan Frommert, director of communications. "We will give them a round-the-clock insight into the world of TSG with the same high quality and depth of information that users of our other digital channels have come to expect." TSG are working with the Munich-based agency "two ten eight", who have great expertise in the world of Asian social media.

TSG Hoffenheim currently have around 20 digital channels, from Twitter to Twitch, offering behind-the-scenes insights into events at the club, running the gamut from the academy to eSports, women's football and the men's team in the Bundesliga.
