Vaccination in the PreZero Arena: Joint campaign by professional sports clubs in Baden-Württemberg

Under the motto "Our Offensive: Vaccinate", professional sports clubs in Baden-Württemberg, together with the ministry for social affairs, health and integration, are calling for people to get vaccinated against Covid. TSG Hoffenheim are on board for the 24-hour vaccination campaign and will be offering vaccinations at the PreZero Arena from 18:00 CET to 00:00 CET on 15 December and from 06:00 CET to 18:00 CET on 16 December.

Frank Briel from TSG Hoffenheim is convinced: "Vaccination is our quickest route out of the pandemic. This applies both to sport and society as a whole. Team sport has been contributing to integration and solidarity in our country for generations. We are therefore aware of the role-model function we have for people who have so far been sceptical about vaccination."

All people under 30 will be given the BionTech vaccine and all those over 30 will be given Moderna.

In cooperation with the ministry for social affairs, health and integration, professional sports clubs throughout Baden-Württemberg want to actively promote the vaccination campaign in the coming weeks using the hashtag #dranbleibenBW. The "Our Offensive: Vaccinate" campaign - the only one of its kind in Germany - unites well-known professional clubs from handball, basketball, football, volleyball and ice hockey. The 24-hour vaccination campaign is intended to reach people who have not yet been vaccinated and encourage them to get vaccinated directly in stadiums or sport halls. All information on this and other vaccination campaigns can be found at www.dranbleiben-bw.de.

#dranbleibenBW is an action and information campaign of the Baden-Württemberg ministry for social affairs, health and integration. The aim of the campaign is to educate people in Baden-Württemberg about vaccination, to answer questions and to create accessible offers for vaccination.
