TSG kick off campaign in Augsburg

The German Football League (DFL) has announced the fixtures for the 2020/21 Bundesliga campaign. TSG Hoffenheim will start the season with a trip to FC Augsburg in mid-August, with 1. FC Union Berlin the visitors to the PreZero Arena for the first home game a week later.

Off to Augsburg on the opening weekend: TSG Hoffenheim will kick off their 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign with a trip to FC Augsburg (13-15 August). 1. FC Union Berlin will be the visitors to the PreZero Arena for the first home game of the new season. Next on the agenda for coach Sebastian Hoeness and his charges will be a visit to Borussia Dortmund. The Baden-Württemberg derby is scheduled for the first weekend of October, with TSG Hoffenheim heading to German champions Bayern Munich three weeks later on Matchday 9. The Kraichgau club will round off the first half of the season in mid-December against Borussia Mönchengladbach at the PreZero Arena.

"When the fixture list is announced each year, my excitement for the new season – as is surely the case for everyone interested in football – increases in leaps and bounds. From July onwards, we have to concentrate and work hard throughout pre-season to be ready for the start of the season, and then hopefully we'll get off to a successful start together with our fans," said Alexander Rosen, the director of football at TSG.
