2021/22 Bundesliga season to start on 13 August

The new Bundesliga campaign will get under way on the weekend of 13-15 August 2021. The first half of the season will end once the Matchday 17 fixtures have been played between 17 and 19 December, with the action resuming with Matchday 18 on 7 January 2022. The 34th and final round of the Bundesliga has been scheduled for 14 May 2022.

Meanwhile, next season's DFB Cup will start with the first round of the competition on the weekend of 8-9 August 2021. The second round will follow on 26 and 27 October 2021, followed by the last 16 on 18 and 19 January 2022 and the quarter-finals on 1 and 2 March 2022. The two semi-final fixtures have been scheduled for 19 and 20 April 2022, with the Berlin final to be played on 21 May 2022.
