Women set to face league rivals Sand in friendly

The TSG women have two friendlies on the agenda before the second half of the Allianz Women's Bundesliga season starts. On Sunday (12:00 CET), they will host SC Sand at the St. Leon training ground. "We've just had a weekend without a match and weren't able to train on the pitch on several occasions this week due to the weather conditions," said head coach Jürgen Ehrmann prior to the meeting with league rivals SC Sand. "That's why we first want to get a feeling for the right spaces once again, and everyone needs to get some minutes under their belt too."

The two friendlies that were scheduled for the U20s this week against 1. FFC Niederkirchen (Thursday) and SC Freiburg II (Sunday) will be cancelled. Instead, Siegfried Becker and Lena Forscht's team will play a friendly at the weekend against a junior side.
