Friday evening: Meet the team At training

A major factor in this regard is that the workload must be adapted to individual players. There are a few fixed appointments, one of which is the fitness test that took place last Sunday, meaning an official first training session open to fans on a weekend was not possible. Coach Julian Nagelsmann met with many fans' wish that an open training session should be held at a fan-friendly time as well. This was planned for Saturday 7 July at 10:00 CET. However, after the fitness coaches had worked out the first few days in detail, it became clear that this session would need to be brought forward to Friday afternoon at 17:00 CET. On Sunday, the team begins its first, important training camp in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and it will be very intensive. As a result, Saturday must be kept free for recovery and to patch up any minor wounds.

We know that many of you had made arrangements for Saturday. With these lines, we kindly ask for your understanding that the training session was moved to Friday afternoon. We are all doing everything in our power to give you the chance to greet the team with both its "old" and new players. And we think that this compromise now gives all involved the best opportunity to start this historic Champions League season together.

We would be very pleased to be able to welcome you at the training ground in Zuzenhausen at "Emil's Fan Kiosk". Together, we will be able to watch our boys train, hopefully under sunny skies, and toast a new, extraordinary season with the odd cold drink or two.

Fan Support will also be there. We will be happy to answer your queries about the summer schedule, the training sessions and the training camps.
