Posing for the DFL – Hoffenheim enjoy media day

In the morning, the team and the players got through their training workload as usual. From one o'clock, they were in for something new. The DFL (German FL) made Thursday an official media day for all of the clubs involved in the 2013/14 Bundesliga season. For around three hours, the TSG players stood in the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena but were in the spotlight for a very different reason. Instead of footballing capabilities, it was all about their promotional abilities and proving their representative qualities.

Markus Gisdol's staff and Andreas Beck and his teammates did their job well. By the end of the day, everyone was happy and the DFL team packed away their props. During the three hours, the players, the staff and the board of TSG were moved from station to station in five groups inside the stadium so as to be snapped in different situations.

On the pitch, the shots on goal and the players' dribbling ability were caught on camera, as were the goalkeepers' throw-outs. Inside the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena, the focus was on the team portraits. The whole event served as a reminder of sports day. The players enjoyed it, entered the event with a relaxed attitude, giving the DFL employees an enjoyable day at work.

The pictures, as a still or moving image, will be used by the DFL for their international marketing. Hoffenheim's official team photo will be printed in a number of special editions ahead of the start of the season, as well as being used by achtzehn99.de.
