Match reaction to Stuttgart

Markus Babbel: The team that was more naà¯ve lost, and that was us. We made too many mistakes. For their goals, we left Ibisevic with too much room. In the second half we built up a good head of steam and came close to getting something, but unfortunately it wasn't enough.

Bruno Labbadia: This is a very important win for us. We were very good in the first half, apart from a brief period where looked slightly out of sorts. But I think we deserved to win this game. In the second period, our counter-attacking play could have been better, but it was deserved victory nonetheless.

Marvin Compper: We didn't manage to put their defence under enough pressure in the first half. In the second half we were able to do that, but you have to do it for more than just 45 minutes. i think that we really need to try and be more dominant in our home games, and make opposing teams fear to come here. Both of their goals were very simple; none of us got close enough to the man. Our performance next week has to be better.

Vedad Ibisevic: I'm happy that we were able to win the game. Of course it wasn't an easy situation for me, but I just tried to give my best to win the match.
