Jaissle set for comeback with U23's

Hoffenheim's defender Matthias Jaissle is about to make his comeback after recovering from a cruciate ligament rupture when Hoffenheim's U23's take on Astoria Walldorf on Friday. The 21-year-old hopes to regain match fitness by playing for the second side.

"I am a little bit nervous, but I'm also really looking forward to play", Jaissle reveals. "I will need a bit of time to be back at 100%, but I need to get some match experience in order to make a full comeback."

Having conducted several additional training sessions with fitness coaches Rainer Schrey and Christof Elser he's got a lot of expectations for his comeback, but he also admits: "I am curious how I'll be able to perform in a match. There is a huge difference between training and actual competition."
