TSG Hoffenheim start their second training camp

One day after the 8-2 victory against Dutch top division club SC Heerenveen, TSG Hoffenheim have moved into their training camp in Windischgarsten in Upper Austria.

The TSG entourage flew from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden to Linz on Sunday afternoon and after a one hour bus journey, they arrived at their final destination. It was at the Pyhrn-Priel holiday region in Windischgarsten, the same place as where Hoffenheim's professional squad prepared for their season last year. It laid the foundations for the most successful season since promotion to the Bundesliga in 2008.

Eight training sessions are planned at the Hotel Dilly facility, which is where the TSG players, the coaching team led by Julian Nagelsmann and the support team moved into their living quarters. The sophisticated training program will get under way with so-called team building exercises, one of which is already planned for Monday. One year ago, a visit to the tree top adventure park was one of the highlights of the stay in Windischgarsten.

The second training camp will finish on Saturday with a friendly match in Wels against the Italian first division club Chievo (kick-off 16:00 CET. Live on Sport1). On Sunday 5 August, the TSG entourage will travel back home. In Upper Austria, the second training camp is already taking place before this season. In early July, the TSG squad prepared for a week in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After that, training took place as usual in Zuzenhausen for two weeks.
