Szarka signs for FC Energie Cottbus
Robin Szarka has left TSG 1899 Hoffenheim after seven years in Kraichgau and will strengthen third-division side FC Energie Cottbus from the coming season. The midfielder's current contract at TSG was set to expire on 30th June 2015.
The 22-year-old made two significant contributions during his time with TSG. He was part of the side that won the U-17 German champion in 2008 in addition to winning the U-19 Germany Cup in 2010. The midfielder, born in Mannheim, made three appearances for the first team and featured 103 times for the U-23 side, scoring eight goals.
