TSG send Erencan Yardimci on loan to Eintracht Braunschweig
“Erencan already showed his abilities in the second half of last season. To enable him to take the next step in his sporting development, we have jointly decided to arrange a loan. Eintracht Braunschweig was able to offer Erencan not only the prospect of playing time in the 2nd Bundesliga, but also that they specifically need his player profile. We are therefore very positive about this loan,” said Andreas Schicker, sporting director at TSG Hoffenheim. Erencan Yardimci joined Hoffenheim in the summer of 2024 from Turkish top-tier side Eyüpspor and was immediately loaned to Sturm Graz, who were the reigning Austrian double winners at the time.
The Turkey U21 international made a total of 14 competitive appearances for Graz in the first half of last season in the league, the Austrian Cup and the Champions League (3 goals, 2 assists). Yardimci returned to Hoffenheim for the second half of the season and made eight Bundesliga appearances for TSG. The Turkish international also made two appearances for Hoffenheim’s Regionalliga side, who were promoted to the 3. Liga at the end of last season.
Yardimci made his debut for the Turkey U21 national team on 27 September 2022 against Georgia (1-0) and has since made 13 appearances for his country’s youth team, scoring six goals.
