Haris Tabaković joins Borussia Mönchengladbach on loan
“After very open and trusting discussions with Haris, we have agreed to his request for a loan move to Borussia Mönchengladbach,” said Andreas Schicker, sporting director at TSG, adding: “Haris is a classic centre forward who always puts the team first on the pitch and, with his outstanding character, played a key role in helping us stay up last season. We wish him all the best for the coming season in the Lower Rhine region.”
Haris Tabaković joined TSG Hoffenheim from second-tier side Hertha BSC as the top scorer in the Bundesliga 2 ahead of the 2024/2025 season. In his first year in Kraichgau, the striker made 29 competitive appearances (four goals) for TSG in the Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal and the Europa League.
The Swiss-born Bosnian played for all of Switzerland’s youth national teams but now plays for the Bosnia and Herzegovina senior national team. Since making his debut in November 2023, Tabaković has played five games for the Bosnian national team.
