Markus Gisdol:We knew that Hannover would be well organised and we would have to keep a cool head. We allowed the visitors a little more possession on purpose. We deserved to win thanks to a very concentrated and controlled team performance. I'm very, very happy.

Tayfun Korkut:We didn't start all that badly, but we conceded the equaliser too quickly. It only got more difficult with each passing minute after their second goal and the red card. We weren't penetrative enough today and we could have offered more fight. Congratulations to Hoffenheim on their deserved win.

Andreas Beck:We really wanted to kick on after the win against Leverkusen on Sunday. A home win was exactly what we were after. Hannover were set up well tactically, but we played intelligently. The three points will do us a lot of good. Now we're looking forward to the game against Bayern, even though we know that it will be incredibly difficult there.

Eugen Polanski:We were desperate to see it out after we took the lead, because we have experienced it very differently before. We played well over the 90 minutes and deserved to get the three points.

Jan Schlaudraff:Until we scored the opener, we weren't really in the game. We weren't courageous enough in attack. We wanted to try all we could in the second half but we couldn't give any more after the red card.
