Hoffenheim to play Darmstadt

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will still be playing football this week, despite the international break. On Friday 12th October at 18.00 CET, TSG will play a friendly against third division SV Darmstadt 98. Manager Markus Babbel will take the opportunity to play both youngsters and experienced players, in order to raise everyone's match fitness.

Ten Hoffenheim players have been selected for international duty. Tim Wiese is back in the squad for the Darmstadt game after recovering from a muscle tear, as well as Chris, who has been absent from team training for weeks after a hamstring injury. In agreement with the manager of the TSG youth team, Denis Streker and Vincenzo Grifo of the U23 squad will have the chance to play with the first team.
