Beck out with torn muscle
A serious blow for Andreas Beck and 1899 Hoffenheim. The right back suffered a torn muscle in his left thigh during training on Wednesday and is expected to miss the next two games at least.
The announcement was made following an examination in the evening by team doctor Pieter Beks. Whether the German international will be back before the Christmas break is not yet known.
