TSG remembers Peter Hofmann

For more than five decades, Hofmann actively shaped the development of TSG through various roles, including 25 years as its chairman. The longest-serving president of a Bundesliga football club at the time of his departure, he was re-elected eight times - proof of how much his work was appreciated, especially by the club's members.

Under his leadership, TSG managed to rise from being a Landesliga club with a few hundred members to a Bundesliga and a Champions League participant with over 10,000 members. The native of Heidelberg always retained his down-to-earth and hands-on manner and always had an open ear for the concerns and worries of others. If a TSG member or fan needed help, Hofmann was there.

The legacy of Peter Hofmann's time at the club lives on in the memories of the TSG family.
