In good home form and unbeaten in head-to-head

TSG Hoffenheim want to make the PreZero Arena into a fortress once again, return to winning ways after their recent defeats and compete for the top places. The next opportunity to do so comes on Matchday 22 against Arminia Bielefeld (Sunday at 17:30 CET / Live Ticker at tsg-hoffenheim.de). Ahead of our meeting with the promoted side, we have compiled all the important facts and figures on #TSGDSC below.

Did you know that…

…TSG are still unbeaten in the Bundesliga against Arminia?

Two wins, three draws – there's no other Bundesliga team TSG have faced this many times without losing. The past three games have ended in stalemate, however, and it's high time for the next victory.

…Hoffenheim have only conceded one goal to Bielefeld?

TSG have an outstanding defensive record of one goal conceded in five games against Arminia. The East Westphalians have not scored so few goals against any other Bundesliga club they have faced at least four times.

…coach Sebastian Hoeness' team is extremely strong at home?

20 points from 10 matches in Sinsheim – only in their first top-flight season in 2008/09 did TSG pick up more points in their opening 10 home games (26).

…Bielefeld have recently put together a remarkable run?

Three wins and three draws from their past six games – Arminia are currently on the longest unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga. In addition, this is the first time that Bielefeld have gone through their first four games in the second half-season undefeated.

…Bielefeld have also impressed on the road?

Bielefeld have taken an impressive seven points from their last three games on their travels. A victory away to TSG would see Arminia pick up their first back-to-back away wins in the Bundesliga in approximately 15 years.

…TSG recently experienced a dejá-vu?

TSG had 16 shots in their 2-0 defeat in Mainz without finding the net. That has only happened to Hoffenheim on one other occasion this season – in the reverse fixture against Arminia Bielefeld.

…Bielefeld are dangerous from long range?

Last week, Janni Serra scored Arminia's fifth long-range goal of the season. Only Dortmund (7) and Frankfurt (6) have scored more often from outside the box. DSC's ratio of 24% of all goals this season being from range is also the highest in the league.
