Hoeness: ''It was a courageous win''
Andrej Kramarić: ''It was close throughout the entire game and we were maybe even the better team. Of course, it wasn't easy, especially after falling behind. But we showed a good mentality once again and deserved to win. It is a very important victory. We want to get into Europe, that's our dream and it's what we're aiming for. We will give everything to achieve it. For that, we'll need the same mentality we had on the pitch today in the future.''
Jacob Bruun Larsen: ''It was a difficult game. Wolfsburg are a good team, you saw that again today. We had to fight our way back and fortunately we managed to win. It's important to win games like that, especially away from home. It was a strong team performance. Hats off, let's keep it up. We'll talk about the league table when the season is over. I just followed my instinct in scoring the goal.''
Sebastian Hoeness: ''It was the tough game we were expecting. Both teams want to play the ball forward. It was pretty open in the first half, with a slight advantage for Wolfsburg. They deserved their lead, hence why I wasn't happy. We were more stable after the changeover. There were hardly any chances on either side. The substitutions were just right today. We turned the game around in a flash and then defended the lead with real heart. We got the necessary luck on our side today. It was a courageous victory that we are very happy to take home with us. I am proud of the boys.''
Florian Kohfeldt (VfL Wolfsburg coach): ''It's a really frustrating loss from our perspective. We were playing really well and then threw away the win in the space of five terrible minutes. We were able to find solutions with our football and still had chances after falling behind. That's what makes this result so infuriating. Our approach was right. Today's game was decided by the small moments that went against us.''
