TSG Hoffenheim sign top talent Deniz Zeitler
"Deniz is a highly talented player who, at only 18 years of age, still possesses a lot of potential for development and is therefore definitely a transfer for the future. He can play various positions across the attack and caused quite a stir last season with his impressive performances and goals for Ingolstadt in the 3. Liga," said Andreas Schicker, TSG's Managing Director of Sport, who added: "We want to develop him into a Bundesliga player and are convinced that he will make his mark at TSG. Deniz has generated a lot of interest from other top-level clubs this summer, so we're very pleased that he ultimately decided with full conviction to move to TSG."
Deniz Zeitler came through the youth ranks of the football academy at current third-tier club FC Ingolstadt. He played 13 games for Bayern in the U19 Bundesliga Süd/Südwest (nine goals) and a total of 38 games for the Ingolstadt first team in the 3. Liga, the DFB-Pokal and the Bayernpokal (10 goals and four assists). On 14 May 2025, Zeitler also made his debut for the Germany U19 national team in their international match in Denmark (1-1).
