Hennes Behrens extends contract at TSG Hoffenheim

Hennes Behrens joined TSG Hoffenheim's academy in July 2020 from the youth team of SV Darmstadt 98. The 20-year-old defender played 17 games for the U17s in the Bundesliga Süd/Südwest (one goal/four assists), 51 games for the U19s in the Bundesliga Süd/Südwest (one goal/12 assists) and six games in the UEFA Youth League (two goals/one assist) for the Kraichgau-based club's youth teams in recent years. In the 2023/2024 season, Behrens even celebrated the double with TSG's U19s, winning the German Championship and the cup. In the season just ended, he made 26 appearances for Hoffenheim's U23s in the Regionalliga (four goals/four assists), helping them gain promotion to the 3. Liga.
