Baumann & Bischof called up to Germany squad
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has named two TSG players in his squad for the UEFA Nations League finals. Oliver Baumann, who secured his place in the final tournament with his strong performances in the quarter-finals, is joined by Tom Bischof, who has been called up for the senior squad for the first time.
The German national team will face Portugal in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League (4 June, 21:00 CEST). Two TSG players could feature in the match: Oliver Baumann, who made his international debut last year, has been included in the squad. The same is true of Tom Bischof. The 19-year-old, who joined TSG at the age of ten and made his professional debut at 16, has been called up by national coach Julian Nagelsmann for the first time.
If Germany prevail against Portugal, they will face the winner of the France vs. Spain match in the final on 8 June.
