Benjamin Hübner remains TSG captain
TSG head coach André Breitenreiter has appointed the captains and the team council ahead of the DFB-Pokal opener away to SV Rödinghausen (Sunday/15.31 CET). Benjamin Hübner will remain club captain of TSG Hoffenheim.
Benjamin Hübner, who has been TSG's captain since the second half of the 2019/20 season, will continue to wear the armband. This was decided and communicated to the team by head coach André Breitenreiter on Friday. His deputies of equal rank are Oliver Baumann and Andrej Kramarić, who wore the captain's armband last season when Hübner was absent. Christoph Baumgartner and Grischa Prömel are also on the team council.
