TSG start in Mönchengladbach, first home game against Bochum

The German Football League (DFL) have published the schedule for the 2022/23 Bundesliga season. TSG Hoffenheim will kick off at Borussia Mönchengladbach in early August. The first home game sees TSG take on VfL Bochum.

An away game on the first matchday: TSG Hoffenheim will kick-off their 2022/23 Bundesliga season with an away match against Borussia Mönchengladbach (6/7 August).  The fixtures were announced by the German Football League (DFL) on Friday. One week later, TSG will play host to VfL Bochum for the first Bundesliga home game under coach André Breitenreiter. Get your season ticket here.

TSG will welcome SC Freiburg on Matchday 7, while the battle with VfB Stuttgart will take place on Matchday 17 in the PreZero Arena, with the season finishing in Stuttgart on the last matchday of the 2022/23 season. Bayern Munich will come to the Kraichgau in October (Matchday 11). In the last match of this calendar year, TSG will play VfL Wolfsburg on Matchday 15 (11-13 November). After that, the World Cup in Qatar will begin.

"The release of the fixtures is really ramping up the excitement ahead of the new season, in which we want to experience all the emotions and victories together with our fans. To that end, I expect every player and employee involved with the first team to tackle the upcoming tasks with full passion, power and absolute identification from the very first day of pre-season," said Alexander Rosen, director of professional football at TSG.
