Abraham: ''I'm looking forward to the challenge''
David, Eintracht have picked up four points from the first two games. Are you happy with how you've started the new season?
''We're happy with the points we've picked up, but happier still about the way we raised our performance in Berlin compared to the season opener against Bielefeld. Now it's all about building on that.''
TSG Hoffenheim defeated Bayern Munich 4-1 on Sunday. What did you make of TSG's performance?
''Incredible. TSG knew how to read the game and pounce at just the right moments. They definitely made the most of Bayern's fatigue, but that doesn't take away from how convincing a performance it was.''
Andrej Kramarić is currently the league's top scorer, and you'll be tasked with marking him on Saturday. What do you have to be prepared for?
''Andrej will pose a real threat. We know that of him. It's the same every season. I'm looking forward to the challenge of playing against one of the best attacking players in the league.''
TSG are winless in their last six games against Frankfurt. Why have Eintracht proved such tough opponents in the recent head-to-head encounters?
''These matches have been across different seasons, with different coaches in charge, so it's hard to give a concrete answer. I think our team spirit, our cohesion and our energetic performances have definitely been a key factor in our success against TSG.''
You played for TSG between 2013 and 2015. How do you look back on your time in Hoffenheim?
''TSG were my first club in Germany and they made it possible for me to establish myself in the Bundesliga. I have great memories of my teammates, members of staff at the club, and fans too. My encounters with Dietmar Hopp were always very pleasant and enjoyable. I am grateful to the club for showing interest in me and giving me the chance to play in the Bundesliga.''
