Kramarić: "An unbelievable feeling"

The dream of automatic qualification for the UEFA Europa League group stages has become a reality. Here's what the players and club officials had to say in the aftermath of TSG Hoffenheim's historic 4-0 victory at Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 34.

Andrej Kramarić: "It was simply a super feeling to score four goals and thus finish in sixth place. It's difficult to find words to describe it; things like that don't happen often in your career. Above all, I'd like to thank my team-mates. We're very happy to be in the Europa League. I didn't know that it was the first time a player has scored four goals in Hoffenheim's history. It's obviously an unbelievable feeling to make history. It wasn't an easy season for me due to the injuries and that makes it feel all the sweeter."

Benjamin Hübner: "We produced an outstanding performance. I'm incredibly proud of the lads for what we have done in the past few weeks. It's been clear in the last few weeks what Hoffenheim are about. Attacking football is in Hoffenheim's DNA."

Robert Skov: "It was just a great display from Andrej. We're all very happy and delighted for him. It was a very difficult season for him personally, but he always makes a big difference for us when he plays. You could see on the pitch today that we wanted to win a lot more than Dortmund. We absolutely wanted that sixth place and we got it. The dynamic always changes when there's a switch of coach and that helped us in the decisive phase of the season."

Oliver Baumann: "Andrej is simply a player who makes the difference and is a huge help to us. He returned to the training ground following his injury and we thought he was perhaps at 80 percent. And now he lights up all of a sudden and is completely back. The lads can use him as an outlet and he always draws several opponents to him. We're just happy he's with us. In general, it was a very difficult year for us – but we're delighted it all worked out in the end. We're very happy that we've had such a strong final third of the season following the corona break."

Alexander Rosen: "I said before the match it was a good season for us whatever happened. Now that we've finished sixth, it was a very good season. We're obviously delighted that we've avoided the qualifiers and qualified automatically for the group stages. It's a wonderful way to end the season."
