Hübner faces one-game suspension
The sports tribunal of the DFB (German Football Association) has imposed a one-game suspension on Benjamin Hübner of Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim. The decision, arrived at through an accelerated procedure, came after the DFB control committee brought charges of unsportsmanlike conduct against the player, who is now banned from appearing for the club in any professional-level match until the end of the suspension.
Hübner was shown a red card by referee Sören Storks in the 9th minute of last weekend's Bundesliga match away to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
TSG Hoffenheim has accepted the tribunal's decision, and it has now come into force.
