Travel Information

  • The stadium is easily reachable using all major motorways. On reaching Manchester, follow the signs for SportCity. The stadium's address to enter into your satellite navigation system is: Etihad Stadium, Etihad Campus, Manchester M11 3FF.
  • It takes around 45 minutes to travel there from the airport.
  • The Metrolink tramline departs directly for the Etihad Stadium from the Victoria and Piccadilly train stations in the city centre, travelling in the direction of Ashton-Under-Lyne. 
  • There are regular transport connections to and from the stadium during the match.
  • You can park in sections G & H of the Blue Car Park, accessible via Alan Turing Way (gate 2). Parking spaces for buses are available in sections C & D of the Gray Car Park, which can be reached via Ashton New Road (gate 7).
  • A car parking space costs £10.00.
  • A resident permit system is in operation in the streets surrounding the Etihad. It is strictly enforced and can be identified by street signs. Please do not park in these areas as you may face a fine for parking your car there.

General Information

  • There will be a fan march the day of the match.
  • The CH 07 fan group asks everyone to meet in Shambles Square in the centre of Manchester at 17:00 (local time) for the start of the march. Shambles Square is also the official meeting point for all Hoffenheim fans.
  • The stadium opens 90 minutes before kick-off (18:30 local time).
  • The away end is located in the southern part of the Etihad stadium.
  • The City Square fan zone will open three hours before kick-off.
  • No bags are permitted in the visitor area. No facility is available for the safe storage of bags.
  • Food and drink is available on site, but may not be taken into the stands.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the stadium. Transgressors will be ejected from the stadium.
  • In Manchester, no alcohol is permitted in public areas on matchdays.
