Dieter Nuhr talks tough
Speaking on ARD, Dieter Nuhr has reacted to the abuse directed at Dietmar Hopp in his usual sharp-tongued manner. Addressing the matter on his show "Nuhr im Ersten", the comedian said: "Dietmar Hopp might not be Mother Teresa. But not only does he sponsor TSG Hoffenheim, he has donated over €600 million to not-for-profit projects in the fields of sport, education and media via his foundation." Schulz again called up by Germany
Nico Schulz has received another call-up to the Germany squad. National team coach Joachim Löw on Friday selected the 25-year-old for the upcoming Nations League fixtures against the Netherlands (Saturday 13 October, 20:45 CET) and France (Tuesday 16 October, 20:45 CET). Former Hoffenheim striker Mark Uth will join his ex-team-mate in the squad.
Wing-back Schulz received his first-ever call-up in the September international break, and went on to score a late winner in a 2-1 friendly victory over Peru in Sinsheim.
