"TSG is like a home to me"

Fabienne Dongus has played more than 200 competitive matches for TSG, making her Hoffenheim's all-time record appearance-maker. The Böblingen native will be leaving the club in the summer, however. Prior to her departure, she spoke at length about the past 12 years in the Kraichgau on the TSG podcast "Ein Dorf ist die Welt".

On the show, Dongus explained in a very clear manner why TSG has always been special to her and that she hopes it always stays that way. "But it's not going to be easy. Because women's football is professionalising more and more. As a village club, it's especially important for TSG not to forget its roots. At the same time, the club of course wants to play successful football. That is certainly a challenge," Dongus said.
