Steven Zuber extends contract until 2020

Steven Zuber has extended his contract with TSG Hoffenheim, keeping him at the club until 30th June 2020.

“Steven is a versatile player. He can play on either wing or even as a full-back,” said director of football Alexander Rosen. “He has always recovered from setbacks and has a lot of ambition,” he added.

“I’m pleased that the club approached me to discuss a contract extension,” said Zuber. “I haven’t only developed as a player at TSG, but we have made a lot of progress as a team and I want to help take the club even further.”

Zuber transferred to TSG Hoffenheim from ZSKA Moscow in the summer of 2014. He has made 36 Bundesliga appearances for the club, scoring four goals. He has also made six appearances in the DFB Cup. Before moving to Russia, Zuber played in Switzerland for Grasshopper Zürich. He also featured for the Switzerland national first team at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
