TSG mourns with Guilherme Biteco
Tragic news. Matheus Biteco, brother of Guilherme Biteco who played for TSG Hoffenheim between 2013 and 2016, was one of the victims of the plane crash in Colombia. Biteco was travelling with his club AF Chapecoense to Medellin for an away fixture.
Matheus Biteco has left behind his wife and 1-year old son. The midfielder trained in Zuzenhausen from January to June 2016 in order to recover from his adductor injury. During this time, he also trained with the U23s.
Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Matheus as well as all those affected by the disaster.
