Süle and Toljan reach Olympic semis
Niklas Süle and Jeremy Toljan helped the DFB-Team reach the semi-finals of the Olympic football tournament on Saturday. Horst Hrubesch’s men beat Portugal 4-0.
Serge Gnabry, Matthias Ginter, Davie Selke and Philipp Max scored the goals. Süle, Toljan & Co. will be guaranteed medals if they win their next match. They face Nigeria in Sao Paulo on Wednesday (21:00 CEST). The African side beat Denmark 2-0 in their quarter-final clash on Saturday night.
Both TSG players completed the 90 minutes.
