Prömel leaves TSG, DEHM arrives
Grischa Prömel is leaving TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and will transfer to second-division side Karlsruher SC with immediate effect. The 20-year-old midfielder, who arrived from the Stuttgarter Kickers in the 2013/2014 season, was on a contract running until 30th June 2016. He played 24 Regionalliga games for the U23 side and was crowned a German Champion with the U19s in 2014.
As part of the deal, TSG will bring in Germany U19 international Jannik Dehm from Karlsruher SC. The 19-year-old full back, who was twice selected in the KSC starting XI, once in the league and once in the DFB Cup, will be given a contract until 30th June 2018, and is expected to start off in the U23 side.
"Jannik has already gathered first-team experience despite his young age. We want to nurture his talent, and utilise the outstanding opportunities available to develop and improve him as a player," said U23s coach Marco Wildersinn.
