TSG sign Ermin Bicakcic
Ermin Bicakcic will be a TSG player from next season. The 24-year-old defender, who is in Bosnia's World Cup squad alongside Sejad Salihovic, joins from relegated Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig and has signed a contract until June 30th 2017.
Alexander Rosen is confident that Ermin “will lend us more stability in defence”. The sporting director isn't just convinced by the defensive all-rounder's ability, but is also impressed by the “passion that he demonstrated during his 31 appearances for Eintracht Braunschweig this season. His call-up to the squad for the World Cup in Brazil (June 12th to July 13th) was a logical consequence for his performances.”
Raised in Heilbronn, Bicakcic started his professional career at VfB Stuttgart. He has made six international appearances so far. He scored one Bundesliga goal for Braunschweig in the 2013/14 campaign.
