Boris Vukcevic visits the team

Wednesday morning proved to be a very special one for Boris Vukcevic, the TSG team, the coaching staff around Markus Gisdol and everyone connected with TSG in their training centre in Zuzenhausen. Boris Vukcevic (24) returned to visit his team for the first time 18 months after his severe car accident.

Boris met up with the team in the changing rooms and was informed about all the new things currently going on. Afterwards he visited the canteen, where he was greeted by lots of excited and happy faces of TSG's employees.

Boris on his visit…

“I was very happy about the opportunity to come here. Things haven't changed that much. I saw some new faces, but also a lot of familiar ones. It felt good.”

Boris on the team's performances…

“I watched nearly all of the TSG games on TV and I'm happy for the way things are going at the moment. I will definitely visit the stadium again some time soon to support the team.”

Boris on his progress…

“I'm feeling fine. The rehab is still taking up a lot of my time and energy and sometimes it's difficult. But whenever I make progress, I feel motivated again to continue on my road to recovery.”

Boris on the TSG fans and their support…

“The support I have received in the past months has been overwhelming. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans and people who have supported me in these difficult times. It has been extremely helpful.”
