Johnson beats Salihovic - Vestergaard makes debut

In a goal-heavy encounter in Sarajevo between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the USA, there was a head-to-head meeting between Hoffenheim's Sejad Salihovic and Fabian Johnson. Patrick Schorr and Jeremy Toljan were involved in a 3-0 win for Germany's U20 team against Luxembourg's U21s. Both Hoffenheim defenders played one half.

At the same time on Wednesday evening, Germany's U19 team had a friendly in Hungary. Niklas Süle and Kevin Akpoguma were involved. After an end-to-end game where Germany twice led, the hosts eventually triumphed 3-2.
