Start date: June 29th – 2 pre-season training camps
Hoffenheim's players will start their preparations for the 2013/14 season on Saturday, June 29th. There are a number of different activities involved in the club's pre-season preparations.
After that starting date, the Hoffenheim team travel to their first training camp in Westerburg (Rhineland Palatinate). The first August weekend also sees Markus Gisdol's men focus on the opening round of the German Cup.
Hoffenheim's summer plan:
- June 29th: Start of training with performance tests
- June 30th to July 3rd: Training camp in Westerburg, Rhineland Palatinate (no friendlies planned)
- July 17th July 26th: Training camp in Leogang, Austria (includes two friendlies on the 19th and 23rd of July, opponents yet to be confirmed)
- August 2nd-5th: First round of the German Cup (fixture dates, times and opponents yet to be confirmed)
- August 9th-11th: Opening day of the Bundesliga (fixture dates, times and opponents yet to be confirmed)
