Summer holiday fun with 1899
For around 20 children between the ages of eight and fourteen, Wednesday afternoon became something they won't forget. As part of the summer holiday fun campaign in Sinsheim, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim invited children to take part in a press conference at the training and business centre in Zuzenhausen. All of their questions were answered by TSG players Sven Schipplock and Chris.
A few children had clearly prepared well and asked tricky questions like: “Do you like playing football?” “Now and again” answered Chris with a smile. There were also some critical voices heard. “Why did you lose against a fourth division side in the cup?” Sven Schipplock replied: “Unfortunately, we don't know why either! It really shouldn't have happened.” The cheerful discussion lasted around half an hour. At the end of the entertaining press conference, each child received an autograph from the 1899-players and the latest copy of the club magazine. The visit to Zuzenhausen also included a small tour of the training facilities, as well as a group photo.
