Popp and Ballack are picking the teams

The privileged people who have been chosen to pick the teams out of the hat are Alexandra Popp, who has represented the German women's national team on 7 occasions and in doing so has won both the U-20 Women's World Cup as well as the Golden Boot award in the same competition. She will have the honour of standing next to the captain of the men's national team, Michael Ballack, who is still recovering from injury.

The Round of 16 matches are scheduled for 21st and 22nd December.
