"I'm a player who really likes to swap shirts after matches, which is why I now have a great many of them. In particular, I like to swap with former team-mates and friends – but also with players that I admire. I'm not shy when it comes to speaking to them about it either. For example, I have shirts from Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Harry Kane (FC Bayern Munich), Eden Hazard (Belgium) and my former Leverkusen team-mates Patrik Schick and Florian Wirtz in my collection. Some highlights have been accumulated over the years.

But I'm particularly fond of a shirt from this season. After our Europa League match against Tottenham Hotspur, I swapped shirts with Heung-min Son. We unfortunately lost the game 3-2 and Son scored two goals against us, but he's still a role model for me and many others. Like me, he played in the Bundesliga for Bayer 04 Leverkusen, among others. He's been one of the best players in the Premier League for many years now. We had a nice chat after the game; I really like him. Unfortunately, our TSG Hoffenheim was eliminated after the league phase, but the Europa League campaign was a great experience for all of us."
